Radiology reads, back sooner.
Synra is where veterinary practices send imaging and board-certified radiologists read it. Radiologists draft reports with AI from their own notes, then edit and sign. Practices get the signed report in the same place they sent the study.
Studies arrive by DICOM from your X-ray system or by browser upload. Reports are signed by board-certified radiologists. Practices sign no contract.
One case, seen from both sides.
Biscuit, a nine-year-old Labrador, has had a cough for three weeks. Here is the same morning at the practice and at the reading group.
-
At Lakeside Animal Hospital
Dr. Ellis sends two thoracic views from the X-ray room and types the history.
At the reading group
The case lands on the worklist, marked urgent, with the history attached.
-
Nothing to chase. The case shows as in review.
Dr. Chen reads the films and dictates her findings. Synra drafts the report from them.
-
The signed report arrives with recommendations: echocardiography, recheck in two weeks.
She edits two lines and signs. The group pays for one signed report.
For practices
- Free to join. No contract, no minimum volume.
- Keep the radiologists you trust. Connect your group with a code, or find board-certified groups in the directory.
- Send the way you already work. A DICOM destination on your X-ray system or PACS, or upload in the browser.
- Every report in one place, with STAT, urgent and routine priorities.
- Built for groups of practices. Roll out many hospitals and receive one invoice.
For radiologists
- Drafts from your own notes. Dictate findings; Synra writes the draft. You edit and sign.
- Pay for signed reports, not drafts. Iterate as much as you like.
- Your clients stay yours. Practices you invite are never shown other groups.
- Read anywhere. A browser DICOM viewer with window and level, measurements and hanging layouts.
- A worklist made for teleradiology: priorities, assignment and internal notes your clients never see.
How a case moves
Send
The practice sends the study by DICOM or upload and adds the clinical history.
Read
A radiologist at the practice's chosen group opens it in the viewer and dictates findings. Synra drafts the report.
Sign
The radiologist edits and signs. The practice gets the report with the case.
The draft is AI's. The signature is the radiologist's.
Drafts are written from the radiologist's notes and the clinical history, and they read like a radiologist wrote them, in sections, by body system.
Owner names and contact details are never sent to a model.
Every draft, edit and signature is recorded against the case.
Groups with their own model, or a private gateway, can use it instead of ours.
Standard where it counts
- DICOM and DICOMweb
- Studies stay standard DICOM, readable by any viewer your group prefers.
- Your own sign-in
- Each person signs in with their own account and a second factor. Access follows their role in each organization.
- Per-case access
- Practices see their own cases; groups see only the cases sent to them.
- Audit trail
- Who viewed, drafted and signed what, and when.

Questions
Do practices pay to use Synra?
No. Practices join free, with no contract or minimum volume. Your radiologists bill their reading fees as they do today.
Can we keep working with the radiologists we already use?
Yes. Your reading group can invite your practice with a code, and your cases go to them by default. You can add other groups whenever you choose.
Will practices we invite be shown other radiology groups?
No. A practice that joins through your invitation is connected only to your group and never sees the directory unless the practice itself turns it on.
Does the AI write the report?
It writes a draft, from the radiologist's own notes and the clinical history. The radiologist edits it and signs. Nothing reaches the practice until a radiologist signs.
How do studies get to Synra?
Add Synra as a DICOM destination on your X-ray system or PACS, or upload the study in the browser. Either way, the history you enter travels with it.
Which studies can be read?
Any DICOM study: radiographs, CT, MR and ultrasound, for small animal, equine and exotic patients alike.
Is client information kept private?
Each practice sees only its own cases and each group only the cases sent to it. Owner names and contact details are never sent to an AI model, and every view and signature is logged.
